What is the IWD about?
On 8th March every year, International Women's Day is celebrated globally.
Here at The WLA, we mark this occasion with our biggest event of the year. We celebrate equality and bring you live interactive debates and discussions on the issues facing leaders today.
For the last six years, hundreds of women leaders have joined this event to learn what's new, what's different, what's working NOW in the gender diversity and leadership space. Now it's your turn.

The WLA
The WLA is about developing the authentic leadership skills that are needed to change the fabric of our businesses today.
We need leaders who stand tall. We need leaders who call out bad behaviours, who create transparent cultures, who inspire teams to co-create and collaborate across organisational boundaries, who engage others behind a bigger reason why, leaders who are honest and insightful about performance and leaders who genuinely care about other human beings. The WLA aspires to build that authenticity through bringing together a community of like-minded women.
I started the Women Leaders Association (WLA) in March 2015 as I was inspired to change the workplace for women leaders by:
1. Establishing a community of like-minded corporate women who wanted to find a safe space to share, connect and be inspired.
2. Developing authentic leadership through inspiring women to bring more of their feminine energy into the workplace.
3. Creating opportunities for women to give back to others through mentoring, charity work and sharing their stories.
My corporate career spanned 15 years and I too experienced a lot of imposter syndrome and confidence issues.
And whilst always having a positive, can-do attitude I can now recognise how..."I held myself back through a lack of self-belief and knowledge in how to navigate the corporate landscape."
By working together, we will make change happen faster.
