The three awards offer an opportunity to shine a light on talented female leaders who are true advocates for change. The winners will be announced at the conclusion of our 2-day, Online International Women's Day Conference.

Thank you! I just cannot believe it, all I feel I’ve done is turn up, and try my best to give while I’ve been there as well as take. Laura and Mel had really inspirational stories, not to mention all of the others that will have been nominated but not shortlisted, I feel absolutely humbled and amazed that I was chosen as the winner. For me the winning really is getting to meet and spend time with all of the brilliant people, both WLA women and event speakers – I find everyone so inspirational and have come back again really motivated to try and be my best.
The energy in the room from celebrating being a woman was electric.

Rising Star
in STEM
The idea behind this award is to raise the profile of the wonderful work so many women are doing in STEM. Examples can be related to leadership, innovation, sustainability, change, exceptional project work, etc. These women have the potential to be future role models in their sector and /or are passionate ambassadors of diversity in STEM.
Eligibility: open to all aspiring females working within the STEM sector. Contribution at any level is considered.

The WLA Remarkable Women
This award celebrates the outstanding achievements of women who are changing the landscape for all. Women who inspire others through their resilience, pushing the boundaries of what is possible, forging new pathways and becoming true role models. These women typically stay in the shadows and this award is about shining the spotlight on their success.
Eligibility: open to all female nominations.

The WLA Member of the Year
The WLA “Member of the Year Award” award gives the opportunity to nominate a WLA member who has achieved significant individual success, broken down barriers or overcome challenges in order to achieve their success. A member who inspires and motivates her peers and goes above and beyond to support other women.
Eligibility: open to existing WLA members only.
